Mid-Century Modern Ranch Remodel | Nashville Tennessee
Living area and kitchen renovation
We took on a 1960's ranch remodel back in 2013. The home felt closed in with low ceilings and four rooms separated by solid walls in the main area. Our client wanted to have an open loft-like space. We decided the best way to accomplish this was to knock down the walls and raise the ceiling in the main area. The home had many different roof peaks and valleys so we decided just to follow those angles and not try to cover them. The angles created a variety of interesting planes we chose to highlight with paint.
